[A little while later, Lancer would be sitting on the roof of the Celadon Pokemon Center, mostly out of sight. Lying next to him was a fishing rod, and on the end of the line was a box wrapped in blue and tied with a silver ribbon.]

At least she's not alone. Walking alongside her is one Absol who notices Lancer way before her trainer does, looking up in his direction with a curious look herself. ]

[Keeping himself fairly hidden, Lancer dropped the carefully wrapped box over the edge of the roof, dangling it in front of Saber a few feet off the ground.]
