Yeah, you. If you're listening to this, I wanna hear about what kinda legends and stories your world has. I'm bored out of my damn mind and could use somethin' interesting to talk about.

Yup!

So this lass ends up livin' with her stepmother and stepsisters, after her pa dies. They treat her like dirt, make her basically a maid, all that, ain't a good time. One day, in order ta find a bride, the prince of the kingdom invites all unmarried maidens ta a big fancy ball.

Now, the lass, she wants ta go of course because it's a ball, but the stepmother leaves in a carriage with just her two daughters. It's while she's cryin' that the lass' fairy godmother appears and grants her wish ta go- a pretty gown, a carriage, and a pair a glass slippers that fit her tiny feet. So she goes, charms the prince, but has to escape before midnight since the spell'll break then. In her haste, she ends up losin' one of the shoes.

The prince is so enamored with this mystery girl, he goes throughout the whole kingdom tryin' the shoe on people. When he finally gets to the house, the stepmother locks the girl in her room so she can't get in the way, and convinces one of her daughters ta chop off her toes so that the shoe will fit her.

Because that's a reasonable response. Ha.

...But it's made outta glass. Wouldn't they just say 'hey, her toes are missing, something ain't right here'?
