Yeah, you. If you're listening to this, I wanna hear about what kinda legends and stories your world has. I'm bored out of my damn mind and could use somethin' interesting to talk about.

Yeah. Used to be pretty famous for it, actually. Bones twistin' all out of place, blood everywhere, blind rage, the whole package.

[That didn't get Lancer to blink either. Instead, he frowned and tried to run some quick basic math in his head.]

I'm...damn, I ain't sure on an exact year, but I'm technically somewhere around two thousand or so. Spent most of it dead, so who knows if that counts. Turnin' thirty-somethin' next January, I think.

Only ever heard about it secondhand, but I guess I looked like one hell of a mess. Hurt like you wouldn't believe the day after, though.

[Another shrug. Lancer had to acknowledge that after a certain point, most crazy shit just completely failed to faze someone.]

Sounds like a pretty good time to me. Ain't often I hear a story that can match the ones I've got.
