[Lancer never, ever, ever dismissed dreams as nothing. Few understood as well as Cú Chulainn just how real dreams and nightmares could be. They could hurt, and not just emotionally. Once had seemed a warning, and now twice was striking him as a blaring sign of Bad Things To Come.]

[Scowling, he'd left his room at the breeding center and made his way to the roof--never mind how he got up there. (Trees were involved.) It was easier to think when he was off the ground, for whatever reason. Some holdover from his scouting duty as a Servant, maybe. Who cared? The point was that his head was a jumbled mess of things and he couldn't determine the cause or reasoning. When was the last time he'd even had a nightmare to begin with?]

[Even at this ungodly hour, he knew full well somebody was likely to still be awake. Johto and its inhabitants were weird like that. Sitting on the edge of the roof with no thought to the height, Lancer took his Pokegear from his pocket and typed a quick message.]

I'm starting to think some weird shit might be going on around here. Anyone else get that feeling?

Good point, but then the question is 'what now?'

Nightmares experienced by so many of us and roughly at the same time is no coincidence. I imagine we can expect more of this happening.

It's likely a Pokémon or a group of them with the move Nightmare are involved.

I was expecting as much. So I guess we just have to find them and knock 'em out, huh?

I doubt it would be that simple. For one, where would such Pokémon hide? For another, how can we be sure this stops when they're gone? And yet another, what kind of Pokémon is powerful enough to affect us all?

At the very least, we should have a clue for even the third one.

There's a likely answer for the first one, too. They're probably ghosts, so I'd assume they could just outright turn invisible for kicks.

Ghosts are always suspect when October happens, but we cant discount all the others. After all, we've been asleep for these nightmares, as far as I can tell, which means Hypnosis may have been at work. And Hypnosis is a Psychic move.

Can't a lot of ghosts learn that one anyway, or something? Not saying you're wrong, just kind of pointing that out.

I know. Which is exactly my point; there's no point in "going out to knock out a bunch of ghosts" if there are too many probabilities and no concrete evidence.
